Darrell Thayer Sr. and Tammy Thayer have been spreading the gospel at Lighthouse Baptist Church for over 20 years. Darrell Sr. has been serving the Lord since 1996 and was called to preach in 1998. From 1998-2005 Darrell Sr. and Tammy spent their time preaching and teaching at various nursing homes and churches. In 2005, Darrell Sr. and Tammy were voted in at Lighthouse Baptist Church of Milan as a full-time pastor. In October 2025, the Lord opened the door for a larger church building in Dillsboro, Indiana, and through this blessing came Lighthouse Baptist Church of Dillsboro.
